Evidence-based Medicine Toolkit Training

The EBM Toolkit training provides educators all the resources necessary for teaching a comprehensive EBM program. It consists of 19 didactic modules with illustrative examples, outcomes testing for determining learning, and an appendix of calculators of and tools. It demonstrates completion of ACGME core competencies, and EBM Toolkit can be used by educators as the primary tool for teaching others how to increase the quality of neurological care. Educators will receive a full curriculum of EBM education, including the following:

  • Traditional didactic lectures with presenter notes (PowerPoint presentations)
  • Illustrative article or data sets accompanied by detailed critical analysis
  • Practical learning tools based on real clinical examples
  • Outcome measurement tools
  • Ongoing access to EBM expert faculty and staff for program implementation help
  • 13 credits CME (Continuing Medical Education) for the training
