Dear Alliance members:

I was greatly saddened at the news that our dear friend and Alliance member Ronald Olson passed away in January of this year. Many of the membership knew Ron for his strong support of the Alliance, and as an avid photographer who was always amongst us taking candid photographs of the membership. His joyful manner and wonderful sense of humor and beauty will be greatly missed. I was fortunate to have Ron on my Board while serving as President of the Auxiliary. I could always count on him to be up-to-date on current legislative issues and looked forward to listening to his many ideas on how to increase the interest in our organization. While speaking to his wonderful wife, Sandy, during the AAN meetings in Toronto, she told me how much he ?loved being with the ladies.? Well, we loved being with Ron?his smile, his thoughtfulness, and his dedication to the Alliance and the neurology community.
