AAN Audit Committee

Conduct an annual audit of the Academy's financial operations and submit any recommendations concerning the financial operations to the Board of Directors.

Estimated time commitment: 1 day per year

Responsibilities:

1. The Audit Committee will select an Independent Auditing firm.
2. Prior to the annual Audit Committee meeting, the members will review the material sent to them and submit their related questions or comments to the auditors.
3. The Committee is responsible for the review and assessment of the audit performed by the AAN's outside audit firm, and during a single, half day meeting of the Audit Committee, they will review the details of the audit with the auditors and the AAN finance team.
