The primary charge of the AAN Editors-in-Chief Committee is to nurture and advance the business, marketing, and content strategies—individually and collectively—of all AAN Publications by fostering the dialogue and collaboration among the Academy's editorial leadership.

Responsibilities:
The principal publications and electronic mediums coordinated by the committee include
the following:
- Neurology
- Neurology Today
- Continuum
- AANnews
- Neurology Now
- PDA Applications and content
- AAN Press products, including patient education and professional reference books
The Publications Committee will include the following members:
- The Editor-in-Chief of Neurology (who also reports to the AAN Board of Directors)
- The Editor-in-Chief of Continuum (who also reports to the Education Committee)
- The Editor-in-Chief of AANnews (who also reports to the Membership Committee)
- The Editor-in-Chief of Neurology Now
- The Editor-in-Chief of the Clinical Reference Series
- The Editor-in-Chief of Neurology Today
- The Editor-in-Chief of the Patient Education Book Series
