AAN Practice Guidelines Related to Epilepsy
The AAN develops clinical practice guidelines to assist its members in clinical decision making related to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of neurologic disorders. Each guideline makes specific practice recommendations based upon a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation of all available scientific data.

A detailed description, facts on treatment and prognosis, and patient organization contact information for epilepsy.
Dreifuss-Penry Epilepsy Award
This award recognizes physicians in the early stages of their careers who have made an independent contribution to epilepsy research. The award is named for two epileptologists who made outstanding contributions to the field of epilepsy.
