It is a pleasure to join Orly Avitzur, MD, MBA, and the rest of the AAN.com editorial team as Associate Editor for the Education section of AAN.com.

The AAN has a long and productive history of being a powerful advocate and leader in all spheres of neurologic education including undergraduate medical, graduate medical, and continuing medical regardless of whether it takes place in academic medical centers, community hospitals, or physician offices.

The revamping of AAN.com offers a truly exciting opportunity to draw upon the Academy's considerable educational resources for the benefit our members. My vision is to leverage the Academy's commitment to the development of AAN.com to make it a powerful tool that supports neurologic education at all levels. The Education section of AAN.com can be the "go to" place for neurologic education where ideas and materials can be developed, exchanged, critiqued, shared, and discussed. Just as health information technology will transform the practice of neurology, it is inevitable that these same technologies will transform-and improve-neurologic education.

I look forward to working with members of the Academy in developing this important resource.
