Craig Smith, MD
Craig Smith, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and former President of the MS Hub Medical Group in Seattle, WA, where he developed paradigms for outreach patient care through the utilization of telehealth techniques.
Dr. Smith is a member of the Clinical Advisory Committee for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He has also been a principal investigator or co-principal investigator in 28 clinical trials in the fields of neurology and ophthalmology including the seminal Optic Neuritis Treatment Trial, for which he chairs the Executive LONS Committee.
In addition to his numerous research and professional activities, Dr. Smith has published approximately 100 articles and authored or co-authored several chapters and books on neurological and neuro-ophthalmologic disease. He is currently a Senior Medical Director, Neurobiology and ITGR at Genentech, Inc, working on novel therapeutics for the treatment of MS and other neuroscience disorders. He splits his time between the Bay Area and Seattle.
