The Palatucci Connection Newsletter

The Palatucci Connection is an electronic newsletter designed to share the successes experienced by graduates of the Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Forum. Each edition of the newsletter contains a profile of an active graduate, information on recent or upcoming Palatucci Forums, and examples of Advocates being featured in print, television, and online media outlets.

Spring 2013 Newsletter (.pdf)
This version highlights the work of Marianna Spanaki–Varelas, MD, PhD, a 2006 advocate and 2007 advisor, whose advocacy efforts resulted in the creation of two Michigan bills that amended the Public Health Code and the Michigan Vehicle Code.

Winter 2012 Newsletter (.pdf)
This version highlights the work of Javier Cárdenas, MD, a 2008 graduate and 2009 advisor, who has helped initiate the nation's first–of–its–kind concussion education project for high school athletes.

Fall 2012 Newsletter (.pdf)
This version highlights the work of Nicholas Elwood Johnson, MD, a 2011 graduate who is increasing advocacy and public policy awareness to residents and junior members in Florida and New York through an educational webinar series.
