The Palatucci Connection Newsletter

The Palatucci Connection is an electronic newsletter designed to share the successes experienced by graduates of the Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Forum. Each edition of the newsletter contains a profile of an active graduate, information on recent or upcoming Palatucci Forums, and examples of Advocates being featured in print, television, and online media outlets.

Fall 2011 Newsletter (.pdf)
This version highlights the work of Elliott A. Schulman, MD, FAAN, a 2009 graduate who has worked to educate neurologists about the consequences of physical and emotional abuse in patients.

Fall 2010 Newsletter (.pdf)
This version highlights the work of Tissa Wijeratne, MD, FRACP, a 2008 graduate who has worked intensely to improve stroke care in his native country of Sri Lanka.

Spring 2010 Newsletter (.pdf)
This edition contains a profile of Anna DePold Hohler, MD, a 2004 graduate who helped establish the Washington State Neurological Society and more recently on promoting physician awareness of abuse within neurologic practices.

Fall 2009 Newsletter (.pdf)
Inside are profiles of two inspiring advocates from the class of 2008, Mamta Bhushan Singh, MBBS, MD, DM and Javier Cardenas, MD. Dr. Singh was featured for her work to promote epilepsy awareness in New Delhi, India and Dr. Cardenas for his part in the creation of a new comprehensive brain and spinal cord injuries care clinic in Arizona.
