Media Relations: A Guide for the Press
The AAN Annual Meeting Press Room serves hundreds of print, broadcast, and online reporters from around the world. The on-site AAN Press Room is available to assist journalists and broadcasters in obtaining interviews with study authors, copies of scientific abstracts, and expert sources from the Annual Meeting.
The 60th Annual Meeting in Chicago will highlight new research from the world's leading neurologists and neuroscientists through key lectures and more than 1,200 scientific presentations. An awards program will recognize the recipients of more than 20 prestigious scientific neurological awards, including the winner of the 2008 Public Leadership in Neurology Award.
Press and industry guidelines, online press registration, news releases, and media briefing schedule will be updated continuously and can be accessed from the AAN's Online Press Room.
EMBARGO: The embargo for all abstracts to be presented at the 60th Annual Meeting is in effect until the date and time of the presentation unless otherwise noted on the abstract and/or press release. For more information, contact AAN media relations.
