Register for the Annual Meeting
Members of the AAN are invited to join the Senior Member Consortium. You do not need to be a Senior Member of the AAN to join! All members are welcome. The Consortium was originally formed in 2007 as the Retired Member Consortium, but was recently renamed to better reflect the composition of its members. This Consortium has allowed members to make recommendations on improving AAN benefits for retired members and members considering retirement. Consortium members have been successful at sharing opportunities for continued involvement in the neurology profession by sharing experiences and expertise, holding discussions on preparing for a life transition, sharing possible second career paths and volunteer opportunities, and discussing ways to financially prepare for retirement. The Consortium has also assisted AAN senior members in remaining involved in AAN activities. The Consortium, currently at approximately 150 members, meets once a year at the AAN's Annual Meeting. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Senior Member Consortium, please contact Lynee Koester at lkoester@aan.com or (651) 695-2739.
