NEW! Leading Others

Register Today

Program Description:

In 2012, the AAN is offering a new Leadership Program designed around "Leading Others." To effectively lead others and create results, physician leaders need to create engaged followers.During times of change—and in an era where multiple demands compete for one's energy—great leaders first engage their team by getting them on the Same Page™ and then coach people to develop best practices to sustain optimum performance.

Designed as a simple and practical "hands-on" tool and process for physician leaders, getting people on the Same Page requires that the leader and team answer four key questions:

  • What's our mission?
  • What does success look like?
  • Do we have the right people "on the bus?"
  • Are we having "courageous conversations?"

Individual communication/media training will be available to registered attendees. This is designed to assist individuals with communicating effectively in a variety of situations that neurologists face today.More information to be provided after registered.

Upon Completion:

Attendees will gain knowledge, engage members and their teams, and coach people to sustain optimum performance.

Recommended Audience: Trainee, General Neurologist, Specialist Neurologist
