Distance Learning Subcommittee
Develops and designs online educational courses and digital tools that assist neurologists and neuroscientists in their professional development.

Education Research Subcommittee
The Education Research Subcommittee's (ERS) primary goal is to provide and promote research funding to AAN members using a competitive, peer-reviewed process. Two to four grants of $5,000 to $10,000 will be awarded each year based on proposal and merits of the project.

Graduate Education Subcommittee
Monitors residency training programs in neurology and makes suggestions for improvement.

Program Accreditation and Development Subcommittee
Administers accreditation program for AAN-sponsored CME activities. Assesses needs for regional CME programs; develops, administers, and evaluates regional programs offered by the Academy.

Examination Subcommittee
The Examination Subcommittee oversees and sets standards for question writing for AAN education programs, including the Residency In-service Training Examination (RITE), Neurology Self-Assessment Examination (NeuroSAE™), Neurology® Online CME, and Test Your Knowledge.
