PRACTICE MANAGEMENT 302: Shaking the Practice Tree–How to Get More Fruit to Your Practice's Bottom Line

Obtain some of the fundamentals required to manage a neurology practice, utilize the latest tool kit to proactively manage the business aspects of your practice, and address issues before a problem occurs without throwing a wrench into the operation.
Program Description
Obtain knowledge about how to manage employees, including how to recruit and retain staff and to maintain an effective human resources program whether as a solo practitioner or a member of a large group practice. Learn how to analyze and manage your accounts receivable and denial management, and to maximize reimbursement from commercial insurance carriers. Many physician groups are considering the implementation of an EMR. Program faculty will help you to begin the selection process with a needs assessment plan. Finally, faculty will help you sort through the alphabet soup of HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory programs.
