Match

The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) provides Program Directors with information on support services that work with both applicants and programs to facilitate the application and selection process for residency positions.

Adult Neurology Programs utilize ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) for resident applications and the NRMP (National Residency Matching Program) to match the residency positions. The Adult Neurology Match is coordinated by the Association of University Professors of Neurology (AUPN). The Graduate Education Subcommittee of the AUPN works closely with the Consortium of Neurology Program Directors (CNPD) to update Adult Neurology Program Directors about the process of the Adult Residency Match and works in conjunction with Neurology Chairs and Program Directors on issues concerning the Match.
