Choose Your Path: Find a Mentor

Choosing a subspecialty is an important step in your medical career. The AAN Consortium of Neurology Residents and Fellows (CNRF) Mentorship Program can help you find a mentor in a subspecialty of interest to help guide you and provide helpful advice. Follow these steps to get started:

1. If you are not already an AAN member, register with the AAN as a neurology resident by downloading this form and returning it to Member Services.
2. Once you have registered, choose a subspecialty from the list provided. You will be directed to a list of mentors, their area of expertise, and contact information.

In order to see the list of mentors you need to login into the website. Once you have logged in you will be asked to complete an agreement.

Become a Neurology Mentor

Become a neurology mentor and help provide access, perspective, and advice for medical students considering neurology as a career, and for residents considering a subspecialty. This is your opportunity to help mold the future of neurology through one-on-one guidance and to counsel trainees who may be interested in a subspecialty that may not well-represented at their institution.
