AAN Residents, Fellows, and Post-doctoral Grads
What do you need to know about the Residency In-Service Training Exam? How can you get a fellowship? How do you become involved in the AAN? How can you bridge the gap after receiving your PhD?
The AAN provides you with the following resources to help answer all these questions as you progress in your career in neurology:
AAN Consortium of Neurology Residents and Fellows
The American Academy of Neurology Graduate Education Subcommittee (GES) and Consortium of Neurology Residents and Fellows proudly announces a web forum for AAN Residents and Fellows. The product of planning and consultation with current and past Consortium officers, the Consortium of Neurology Residents and Fellows Web Forum will allow for an exchange of ideas between trainees.
The Web Forum was made possible with the feedback from Benjamin Atkinson, MD, Consortium Chair; Larry Charleston, IV, MD, Consortium Chair-Elect; Christopher M. Nolte, MD, Consortium Past Chair; and Sung B. Lee, MD, Consortium Chair in 2006–2007.
Residents and Fellows are encouraged to visit the Web Forum.
Joining the AAN Consortium helps neurology residents, fellows, and post-doctoral graduates grow in their profession by providing a forum to:
- Discuss key issues
- Share ideas
- Work with other residents and fellows
- Gain the opportunity to develop mentor relationships
- Learn more about AAN programs developed especially for residents and fellows
The Consortium is open to all residents, fellows, and post-doctoral graduates who are AAN members and meets at least once a year.
