Continuum Online CME

Instructions for Continuum Online CME

To earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and/or a self-assessment participation credit after reading a Continuum™ issue:

  1. Complete the Multiple-Choice Questions or the Patient Management Problem (available starting with the February 2011 issue). You may choose to complete both.
  2. Complete all questions in each activity (40 Multiple-Choice Questions or 12 Patient Management Problem questions). You do not have to complete a CME activity at one time. Your progress through the questions will be saved for your next visit.
  3. Complete the evaluation at the end of the activity. (Required—you will not earn CME unless the evaluation is complete.)

The AAN has implemented a minimum performance pass rate of 60 percent in order to be in compliance with the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ requirements. Individuals have the opportunity to retake the test if they do not pass the first time.

Preferred responses, including a peer comparison report, will be provided upon completion of the activity. You may print out a summary report of all questions, preferred responses, your responses, and peer comparison data.

CME will be awarded within two business days, and you may print CME certificates for successfully completed activities. Review credits earned through your personal CME tracker interface.

Each CME activity is available for 3 years from the publication date of each issue. Each Multiple-Choice Questions activity is eligible for up to 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Each Patient Management Problem activity is eligible for up to 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Note that the first Patient Management Problem eligible for CME is from the February 2011 issue.
