How do I access Continuum Online?
Only subscribers may access Continuum Online. If you are an AAN member and also a subscriber to Continuum, you will have access to Continuum Online as soon as you log in to aan.com. If you need your AAN member ID and password, contact memberservices@aan.com.
If you subscribe to Continuum but are not a member of the AAN, you must log in by entering your email address and subscriber number. The subscriber number may be found on the upper left corner of the mailing label, which is on the polybag that each of your print issues is mailed in. The subscriber number must always be a 12-digit number. If your number is not 12 digits long, you must enter leading zeros in order to attain 12 digits (eg, if the number on your mailing number is 114410929, your subscriber number is 000114410929. Can institutions sign up for an online subscription to Continuum Online?
Institutions may purchase an online institutional subscription through Ovid, a Wolters Kluwer collection of databases, books, and journals.
Are there discounts for residents or fellows?
Continuum is a member benefit to AAN Junior members. Recently graduated residents and fellows receive a 50% off new-to-practice rate. Contact LWW at (800) 361-0633 for information on this rate.
How and when do I receive CME for Continuum?
CME will be awarded within two business days for 2007 issues if the multiple-choice question score card is completed online. Subscribers may elect to complete 2007 score cards on paper instead and fax them to us. In those cases and for issues printed earlier than 2007, CME will be sent within eight weeks of receipt of the score card. Review credits earned through your personal CME tracker interface.
Do I receive additional CME for Quintessentials?
You can receive up to 3 CME for Quintessentials programs published after January 1, 2007, and completed within 18 months of publication. You can receive up to 10 CME for Quintessentials modules published in 2006 if you complete the program within 18 months of the issue's publication date. CME is no longer available for other Quintessentials programs.
