Neuro Film Festival Seek Entries for Third Year

The Third Annual Neuro Film Festival℠ competition will return to the Sunday Celebration for Research at the Annual Meeting. Patients, families, and the public are again encouraged to enter a five-minute video telling their story about being affected by a neurologic disorder. AAN members also are eligible to enter the contest. (August 30, 2011)

Research Supported by AAN Foundation Focuses on Memory Problems in People with Epilepsy

When epilepsy is diagnosed, dealing with forgetfulness and memory problems may be the last worry on the minds of patients and their neurologists. Yet memory problems can cause significant issues for people with epilepsy in keeping a job, needing help with daily finances and household matters, and overall quality of life. (October 18, 2010)
