It is only through your generous support that the AAN Foundation's work is made possible. There are several ways you can support education and research in neurology:
Make A Gift Today
There are two ways for you to give to the Foundation. The quickest and easiest is on-line giving. Online gifts are processed through a secure network to ensure that your data is confidential.
Donations may also be made by phone, fax, mail, or email request. You can deduct cash gifts from your income the year they are donated. Stocks and other securities are another option, and can result in additional tax savings. These gifts are often given as memorial gifts to honor those who are memorable to you and express condolences to their families. You may also choose to give a tribute gift to celebrate special events in the lives of colleagues, patients, families, and friends.
Plan A Gift For Tomorrow
Gifts in your will or a living trust allow you to leave a legacy to neurology. These gifts also reduce the donor's estate and could help reduce estate taxes. Through provisions in a will, for example, you can create an endowment to fund a specific AAN Foundation program in perpetuity. Significant tax advantages can be realized through planned gifts.
In addition, you may name the AAN Foundation as the beneficiary of your retirement plan. You'll retain the income benefits during your lifetime, and after your death, the AAN Foundation benefits according to your wishes, and your estate receives an income and estate tax reduction.
