Participate in the Resident Authorship Program

Resident and faculty mentor teams are encouraged to apply for the AAN Resident Authorship Program. The program allows a resident to help write a guideline, along with a faculty mentor and experts in the field, under the guidance of the AAN's guideline development experts.

Benefits of participation

By participating in the program, you will gain:

  • Authorship of a widely read publication in Neurology
  • An opportunity to obtain in-depth evidence-based knowledge on a neurology topic of interest
  • Training in the principles of EBM by experts in the field

Apply Now

To apply for this program, please submit a one or two page letter of proposal with the following information:

  • Proposal should list the names and qualification of the resident and faculty member
  • Outline the topic area of interest
  • Highlight any timeline or other constraints that should be taken into consideration
