Annual Meeting Press Room Information

The AAN Annual Meeting Press Room will be open Sunday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, and Monday, April 12, through Thursday, April 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET.

The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Press Room serves hundreds of print, broadcast, and online reporters from around the world during the AAN Annual Meeting.

The 62nd Annual Meeting will be held in Toronto, April 10 to April 17, 2010, and will highlight the latest in neurologic research through key lectures, more than 2,300 poster and platform sessions, and 175 educational programs.

Journalists with credentials can register now.

Press Room Guidelines

Annual Meeting registration fees are waived for journalists with credentials. Press badges are available only to working journalists and writers, who must show the proper credentials.

Press Credentials

The AAN accepts the following as credentials for press:

  • Business card clearly showing media affiliation (a print, online, or broadcast news organization) and position (editor, writer, producer, reporter)
  • Letter of assignment on official company letterhead from an editor of a recognized publication or a producer of a broadcast program certifying that you are covering the conference for the respective news organization
  • At least one published bylined sample of editorial and/or news work
  • Published bylined samples of coverage from previous year's AAN Annual Meeting (if applicable)

International Media

Members of non-US media are required to pre-register in advance of the 2010 Annual Meeting by April 3, 2010.
