Free Toolkit Helps Hospitals Use Inpatient, Patient Safety Indicators
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) offers a free toolkit to guide hospitals through the process of using the AHRQ Inpatient Quality Indicators (IQIs) and Patient Safety Indicators (PSIs) to improve care.
Patient Safety Award Recognizes Research, Care Improvement Projects
The AAN Patient Safety Award recognizes innovative and forward–thinking research and/or care improvement projects designed to meet the Joint Commission's National Patient Safety Goals.
One recipient will be selected from each of two categories—residents/fellows and practicing neurologists—and be recognized at the 65th AAN Annual Meeting in San Diego, March 16–23, 2013.
The deadline to apply for the 2013 award passed December 1.
