As an AAN member, you can participate in making decisions about the future of the Academy and the profession of neurology.

The AAN's annual Business Meeting will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 8:00 a.m. during the Annual Meeting in Room 26AB at the San Diego Convention Center.

Members are encouraged to attend to vote on the slate of nominees to the AAN Board of Directors and any other business before the members. To review the slate of candidates, visit www.aan.com/view/nominees.

Immediately following the business meeting, Academy leaders and advocacy staff will hold an open microphone session to dialogue on AAN strategies for payment recognition for neurologists as a cognitive specialty, including discussion of the recent changes by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to NCS, EMG and IOM codes.

Your Academy is fighting for the viability of the profession of neurology. As a profession, we need to speak with one voice. Your participation matters and we invite you to take the opportunity to discuss our future at this open mic session.

Registration is not necessary — just show up!
