Encourage Congress to Support More Funding for NIH

One of the first issues that the new Congress and Administration in Washington will face is the passage of an economic stimulus package. There is an effort underway to include $3.5 billion in funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the package. Funding for the NIH is one of the Academy’s top legislative priorities.

Please email your members of Congress and urge them to support funding for the NIH in any economic stimulus package.
