Published on September 2, 2009

There's still time to obtain the latest updates in neurology at the 2009 AAN Fall Conference, set for November 6 through 8 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Discounts on hotel and course fees, which are available for early registrants, will end on October 5. Registrations received after the October 5 deadline will be charged an additional $100.

New program tracks enable conference attendees to customize their weekend to suit their individual needs—and save money with additional registration discounts. Attendees who register for a full program track receive 10 percent off the entire track.

The Neurology Update program track consists of three half-day update courses in key areas in neurology, including multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, dementia, Parkinson's disease, neuroinfectious disease, neuromuscular disease, sleep medicine, and neurocritical care. The track also consists of a two-hour Stroke Therapy Update Program and a four-hour Headache Update Program.

For those looking to learn more about coding correctly or how to recognize and proactively avoid financial or legal pitfalls, the Practice Management 101, 201, and 301 track offers the latest and most useful practice improvement tips and resources.

The three-day conference offers a convenient opportunity to earn up to 19.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits CME credits™ to help fulfill your CME requirements as a necessary step towards maintenance of certification.
