2010 Annual Meeting Abstract Submission Now Open

Online abstract submission for the Scientific Program at the 2010 AAN Annual Meeting in Toronto is now open and the deadline to submit abstracts is November 2, 2009. Selected research abstracts will be presented in exciting new and interactive scientific programs and showcased in high profile scientific sessions and popular poster sessions.

  • Ten Integrated Neuroscience Programs
    • Current Concepts in Cognitive Neuroscience: Implications for Neurological Disease
    • Oncogenes and Tumors
    • Emerging Treatments in Neuromuscular Disease
    • Emerging Concepts in Genetics
    • Global Neurology: Toxins and Infections
    • Multiple Sclerosis Imaging
    • Deep Brain Stimulation: Where Are We and Where Do We Go from Here?
    • Proteins, Genes, Neurodegeneration, and the Clinical Presentations
    • Pediatric Demyelinating Disorders
    • Ischemic Stroke, Interventional, and Endovascular Therapies/Large Vessel Disease
  • Future of Neuroscience Conference: Frontiers in Neuroimaging: Coming to a Scanner Near You

Submission of other abstract topics is encouraged.

AAN members and nonmembers alike can submit abstracts, and no sponsors are required. There is a $50 fee for nonmember first authors to submit abstracts. Any first authors can submit up to two abstracts (exceptions: authors of history and education abstracts and co-authors can submit an unlimited number). Previously presented or published abstracts will be accepted with prior presentation disclosure. Confirmation will be sent by email within 48 hours, and acceptance notification will be sent in January 2010.

Please note that the AAN's scientific journal Neurology® has waived the right-of-first-refusal requirement for abstract publication.
