Patient Advocacy Groups Show Support for Neurology

One of the Academy's top priorities has been working towards passing an amendment that would add neurology to the list of eligible specialties for the primary care incentive bonuses given out in any healthcare reform legislation. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) has agreed to introduce such an amendment that would add "neurology" to section 5501, on page 1441 of the Senate Healthcare Reform Bill.
