Practice and Technology Update

Published on October 29, 2007

Dear fellow neurologists and AAN members,

We've been busy enhancing the Practice section of the new AAN.com since its launch last spring. Our aim is to develop and disseminate resources to help clinical neurologists and their staffs achieve success in today's --and tomorrow's--medical environment.

The AAN.com Practice and Technology Editorial Board is now in place:
Eric J.Ashman, MD (Practice Committee)
William S. Henderson,FACMPE (BRAINS)
Anna D. Hohler, MD (Practice Committee)
Michael H. Rivner, MD, FAAN (Technology)
Brett J.Theeler, MD (Resident Physicians)

We've added new features and updates to our section over the past few months. Here's a sample:

Practice News Stand Items:

Practice Guidelines and Tools:

Online Practice Tools:

We plan to add more new items in the coming months. We are now accepting submissions from guest authors on practice and technology issues. A new online submission process will make it easy to upload and review these articles.

Many members have asked questions and provided feedback via the website. We encourage this and hope to hear from more of you in the future. You can either select "Website Feedback" on the blue bar or click the email links found on the right of most pages.

Stay tuned!
