Participants should be able to understand the principles underlying the diagnosis of functional movement disorders; formulate a rational utilization of electrophysiologic measures to support a laboratory-supported diagnosis of functional tremor and functional myoclonus; appraise the different evidence-based treatment strategies tailored for patients with functional movement disorders; be able to make a positive diagnosis of functional movement disorders; formulate a rational utilization of electrophysiologic measures to support the diagnosis in cases of functional tremor and functional myoclonus; and know how to organize a multidisciplinary approach to therapy.
