Learning Objectives There are many advantages to working in an academic institution as an advanced practice provider, but APPs do not always feel prepared or empowered to take advantage of all those opportunities. This session will seek to address this by covering topics that APPs, collaborative physicians and practice managers should consider when examining the professional growth of the APP as a valued member of an academic neurology practice. Topics will include role clarity, engagement, mentorship, just compensation, evaluation, and recognition of the APP as they related to academic missions of clinical service, education, and research. The conversation will be led by an APP who is an associate professor of neurology and has over 13 years of experience in academic neurology.
