Learning Objectives Participants should be able to recognize the value of video-EEG recordings in complementing the initial evaluation for the diagnosis of paroxysmal neurologic events. Participants should be able to understand the salient features of different types of paroxysmal events in adults and children that may be mistaken for epilepsy. Participants should understand how seizure semiology may be helpful for lateralization and localization in in complex spells; and understand the technological and physician resources needed to run a video-EEG unit.
