Participants should be able to recognize normal or pathologic variants on spine imaging for adult and pediatric patients and distinguish between specific types of spinal pathology by imaging criteria. Participants should understand the correct imaging study type and protocol to optimize a patient's evaluation, along with the relevant safety issues. Participants should be knowledgable of the physical principles that underlie these techniques.
