Learning Objectives Participants should be familar with value-based and person-centered care; learn how to identify when spasticity is affecting QOL as well as how to determine the best approach in treatment; learn how to best assess and make treatment recommendations in someone with medically refractory seizures; become familar with the advantages of conversion to monotherapy as well as to avoid sedating AEDs; learn how to obtain information about prior baseline level of functioning in ADLs and to understand when a change and decline in function may represent the sign of a significant neurologic complication; learn how to diagnosis, treat, and assess for outcomes in care in a person with IDD and dementia; and become familar with the importance of information and communication when a person transitions from a pediatric neurologist to a adult neurologist.
