Free CME and MOC Programs
Frequently Asked Questions
Q) How do I participate in NeuroSAE, NeuroPI, or NeuroLearn for free?
AAN members are able to access these programs online at no charge using their AAN Member ID and password. Members can access up to three free courses at a time-one in each online learning program. For example, you may access one NeuroPI course, one NeuroSAE, and one NeuroLearn simultaneously. You will be required to complete an evaluation at the end of each course before accessing additional courses within a learning series for free. Note: NeuroSAE Medical Student Edition and NeuroSAE Annual Meeting Edition are excluded from this requirement.
Q) What if I want to participate in two courses concurrently? I've enrolled in a free NeuroSAE course but I want additional test taking practice.
You have a couple of options. Once you complete your free NeuroSAE course and fill out the evaluation for CME, you will still have access to the questions, discussions, and references for a year - and be qualified to register for another free NeuroSAE. If you're not ready to complete the evaluation and want two concurrent exams available to you, you can purchase the second at a reduced member rate.
Q) What happens to the courses I've enrolled in if I don't renew my membership?
Course access will be removed the first business day in January 2017, if your membership dues are not renewed. If you decide to renew your dues, course access may be reinstated; courses will still expire within the term set upon the initial enrollment.
*Medical Students, Business Administrators at the lower dues rate, and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant members at the lower dues rate not eligible. Free access is limited to one course per online learning program at a time.
