- About Boston
Founded in 1630 along the beautiful Atlantic Coast, Boston is Massachusetts' capital and largest city, and one of the oldest cities in the US. Boston's key role in the American Revolution is highlighted on the famous Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation's founding. Former meeting house Faneuil Hall, a popular stop on the trail, is now a world-famous marketplace that attracts tourists from all over the globe.
April brings spring-like temperatures to Boston, with temperatures typically ranging from 37 degrees to 54 degrees Fahrenheit. The AAN promotes business casual attire for the duration of the Annual Meeting. Consider bringing a light jacket or sweater to Annual Meeting activities since meeting room temperatures and personal comfort levels vary.
The Boston metropolitan area is served by the Logan International Airport. The airport is approximately three miles from The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
