All Work and No Play? Not in L.A.!

The AAN Annual Meeting will be hosting an event a little different this year—a chance to unwind, and channel your inner Bob Ross! We’ve partnered with an L.A. art studio to provide a series of “Paint and Sip” classes in our exhibit hall. Participants will be provided with paint, easels, brushes, and a couple glasses of wine as they follow an accomplished painter through the steps of creating an original piece. A great way to unwind or network with other attendees—why not both?

This event will run two series of midday courses, and classes are expected to be around 30 or so participants. We suspect that slots are going to fill up quickly, so sign up ahead of time to reserve a spot. All you need to bring is yourself, so roll up your sleeves, put on your apron, and have a great time!

Reunion/In Conjunction with Meetings

Reconnect with your peers and program directors, and network with your fellow alumni at various department reunion meetings occurring throughout the Annual Meeting. These In Conjunction With (ICW) Meetings, formerly known as Affiliate Meetings, are designed for functions that include Annual Meeting attendees but are not planned by or sponsored by the AAN. If your department is interested in hosting its alumni meeting during the 2018 Annual Meeting, contact us.
