August 29 Is Last Chance to Secure Early Registration Savings to the 2024 Fall Conference
August 5, 2024
The AAN Fall Conference has a long history of providing a convenient, three-day opportunity for attendees to hear the latest updates on the hottest topics in neurology and leave armed with knowledge and skills they can immediately apply to their practice and patient care. This year’s conference at Caesars Palace Las Vegas—which offers an additional online option—will be no exception.
Set for October 25-27, the robust program includes three distinct program tracks and other not-to-be-missed opportunities. With its compact schedule, it’s an easy and fun way to earn up to 42 CME credits and network with your neurology community, including more than 30 industry partners showcasing the latest innovations in the field.
Neurology Update Track
If you’re looking for the latest and greatest in neurology and updates on 16 of today’s hottest topics in a variety of subspecialties like Alzheimer's disease, MS, headache, neuromuscular, and more, then this year’s eight programs within the Neurology Update Track is where it’s at. “One of the best things about the Fall Conference is the content,” said Program Director Vijay Ramanan, MD, PhD. “It’s developed by neurologists for neurologists, and that way you know it is capturing some of the most cutting-edge updates in the field.”
Best of the Annual Meeting Track
Missed the 2024 Annual Meeting? You can experience the best-of encore presentations from this past April during this highly popular session!
Practice Management Track
Those seeking updates on critical practice management topics like coding, artificial intelligence, integrating advanced practice providers, and more will find the seven sessions within the Practice Management Track especially useful. “This is the ability for us to come together and discuss, ‘How can we enhance our practice? How do we sustain our viability in the field as well as our wellness?’” said Practice Management Program Director Pearce Korb, MD, MHPE, FAAN. “Programs in this track are often co-presented by a clinical neurologist and practice manager to give you the best tips on how to maintain your practice.”
Leadership University
Leadership development is for everyone, and all in-person and online attendees will get the chance to better understand and communicate their value, apply emotional intelligence in times of conflict, and learn how to influence change through three unique Leadership University sessions.
Advanced Practice Provider Pre-Conference
Encourage your care team members to expand their Fall Conference experience and join a day early for the special Advanced Practice Provider Pre-conference on October 24. This full day of programming was developed specifically for APPs and will dive deep into topics ranging from neurology fundamentals to clinical case studies in movement disorders, dizziness/vertigo, and radiculopathy and spinal stenosis. Programming will also touch on the hot topic of artificial intelligence and its impact on clinical documentation.
Skills Workshop: Neurological Examination Skills for Advanced Practice Providers
Fall Conference attendees in Las Vegas can get hands-on practice and real-time feedback—plus 3.5 CME—applying focused neurological exam techniques to evaluate specific common presenting neurological complaints, including evaluation of headache, cognitive complaints, weakness, and gait abnormalities. Registration required.
Meaningful Connections
In addition to the excellent programming, both in-person and online attendees can expect to make meaningful connections with their neurology colleagues who share similar interests and bring new and different perspectives. No one knows this more than five-time attendee and AAN Business Administrator member Leann Garms. “What excites me the most is the people. It’s all about the relationships. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet a vast variety of people from a number of different settings. That coupled with really good content gets great conversation going.”
