| Fellow in Movement Disorders, Department of Clinical Neurosciences and Pediatrics, University of Calgary The Movement Disorders Program and Tourette Syndrome/Pediatric Movement Disorders Program at the University of Calgary are searching for a clinical and research fellow in Movement Disorders (1-year fellowship) under the primary supervision of Dr Davide Martino and Dr Tamara Pringsheim. The core of the clinical training will focus on all the main aspects of adult and pediatric movement disorders with two days per week focusing on outpatient care, with the remaining time protected for research and other academic activities. The fellowship will comprise intense participation into multidisciplinary and translational research projects related to dystonia, Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and Tourette Syndrome. Medical doctors with specialty training in adult or child neurology are encouraged to apply. International applicants are welcome. The fellowship salary will range between 50,000 and 70,000 CAD per annum provided and dependent on level of qualification. There will be no on call responsibilities. Four weeks of paid vacation are guaranteed. Fellowship activities will include participation to the main academic activities of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences and Hotchkiss Brain Institute, with special focus on the activities of the Movement Disorders and Mental Health research teams, depending on specific interests. | |
