| Positions in our Headache Medicine Fellowship are available for start date July 1, 2024. This fellowship emphasizes the development of exemplary clinical skills in the outpatient and inpatient care of intractable headache patients and includes training in nerve blockade, trigger point injections, neuromodulation and botulinum toxin treatment. Modules in Pain Medicine, Pediatric Headache Medicine, and Orofacial Pain are integrated into the training experience. Research in Headache and Pain Medicine topics is ongoing and is also highly emphasized during this fellowship. This is a 1-year fellowship, but extending for an additional year is possible for selected candidates. Required prior to starting this fellowship: Completion of residency training in Neurology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physiatry or Psychiatry; and eligibility for a California medical license is required. Salaries and benefits are competitive and commensurate with training level.
