| Our Neuro-Infectious Diseases Fellowship is part of a larger Neuroimmunology fellowship administered by the Division of Neuroimmunology and Glial Biology in the Dept of Neurology. The fellowship is focused on training neurologists who wish to learn more about neuro-infectious and neuro-inflammatory conditions and can be tailored to the particular clinical and/or research interests of the fellow with opportunities to work in neuroID clinics at the Parnassus campus, within the UCSF MS and Neuroinflammation Center at Mission Bay and at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital in addition to training in other neuroinflammatory conditions at the UCSF Center for Encephalitis and Meningitis. There are weekly fellow didactics and case conferences where complex neuroinflammatory cases are discussed. In addition, there are research opportunities in neuroHIV cognitive and cerebrovascular disorders, novel diagnostic tools and a growing number of global health neuroID opportunities through the UCSF BALANCE (GloBAL Neurology, NeuroinfeCtious Diseases, and Health Equity) program.
