| Recruitment for 2027-2028. This fellowship is a one-year program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in neurology. This fellowship provides the opportunity for training and experience in the following areas: Adult and Pediatric Routine electroencephalograms (EEG) interpretation, 24 hour video EEG monitoring in the adult and pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) interpretation and management of epilepsy and spell patients in the EMU (NAEC level 4 surgical center for adult and pediatric patients), Intensive 24-hour video EEG monitoring interpretation for adult and pediatric patients 24-to-72 hour video ambulatory monitoring interpretation for adult and pediatric patients, Performing and interpreting evoked potential studies (median nerve, posterior tibial nerve, auditory and visual), Reading diagnostic nocturnal polysomnograms and multiple sleep latency tests in the UC Davis Medical Center Sleep Disorders Laboratory Performing and interpreting electromyographs (EMG) and nerve conduction studies. The UC Davis Medical Center Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory and the Sleep Disorders Laboratory are fully accredited by the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the American Sleep Disorders Association, respectively. Pediatric EMG is performed under the supervision of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. | |
