Duration: 1 year Program Overview The KUMC Movement Disorders Fellowship provides comprehensive training in diagnosing and managing a wide range of movement disorders under expert faculty mentorship. Fellows gain hands-on experience with conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, chorea (including Huntington’s disease), tic disorders, and drug-induced movement disorders. Key Features - Training in botulinum toxin injections and evaluation for advanced therapies, including deep brain stimulation, focused ultrasound, and carbidopa/levodopa enteral suspension. - Structured didactics: video case conferences, journal clubs, and case presentations. - Active participation in clinical research with at least one project presented at a national meeting. - Diverse clinical exposure: adult and pediatric movement disorder clinics, operative monitoring for DBS, and dedicated research time.
