| This 2-3 year fellowship program will provide a comprehensive training in Interventional Neurology/endovascular surgical Neurology in the management of intracranial aneurysms, AVM, acute stroke interventions, inra and extra-cranial angioplasty and stenting, ENT embolization and embolization of tumor beds. Fellows will have additional opportunity to learn neurocritical care neurology which is built into the curriculum of Neuroendovascular fellowship program; allowing the trainee to learn all critical care aspects associated with endovascular procedures, and helping become an independent competent clinician operator for better clinical outcome. Our Interventional surgical neurology fellowship also has a continuity outpatient neuroendovascular surgery clinic which helps trainees to be oriented with proper evaluation, selection and preparation of patients for procedures and follow up. Based on our experience, the outpatient clinic on cerebrovascular disease/Neurointerventional Surgery makes our fellows comfortable and competent dealing with complex cases in share decisions making with the family to be successful and safe. | |
