Clerkship directors, program directors, and advisors will apply principles of transparent and equitable assessment to redesign clerkship summaries and MSPE components that communicate both strengths and areas for growth. They will identify coded language, covert ranking, and bias in narrative evaluations and understand the impact of these elements on applicant interpretation. Participants should develop strategies at the departmental, institutional, or national level to promote equitable access to career mentorship for neurology applicants. Please note that this course is designed for virtual participation and will be launched through zoom.
