Learning Objectives This 2-hour session will provide a practical overview of recent and current AAN clinical practice guidelines, with a focus on how their recommendations can be applied to improve patient care including evidence-based medicine, emphasizing its role in shaping high-quality, consistent neurological care. Participants will explore guideline recommendations in two key areas: epilepsy and functional seizures; the most up-to-date guidance, discuss clinical implications, and share strategies for integrating these recommendations into everyday practice; how guidelines support diagnostic accuracy, treatment decisions, and care coordination, ultimately enhancing outcomes for patients with neurological conditions.
