AAN search now includes Continuum, Neurology Today
April 10, 2026
Can’t remember where you saw that reference to a new treatment for migraine? Want to quickly see what Continuum® says about neurological manifestations of rheumatologic disease? Looking for all the AAN’s resources on artificial intelligence?
Try the new AAN.com search experience! You can find what you need from multiple resources on a topic with a quick search. After overhauling your search experience at the end of 2025, we’ve added even more resources to our federated search capabilities. Content from Continuum® and Neurology Today® are now included in the search results, along with resources from across the Academy, not just AAN.com. You’ll find online learning content, journal articles, guidelines, podcasts, and more. Plus, you can filter by sources to narrow it down further.
“This work is based on feedback from our members about how they desire to use AAN.com efficiently and what they expect from their search experience. The AAN develops a wide variety of high-quality resources—and we want to make sure they’re easy for you to access,” said Maisha T. Robinson, MD, MS, FAAHPM, FAAN, chair of the Member Engagement Committee.
The AAN has also invested in a comprehensive taxonomy project to improve content discovery, with member leaders providing input on our classification system and search experience. Look for topic tags right below your search and select one or more to narrow your search, then use the “filter by” checkboxes to find exactly what you’re looking for.
These investments are anchored in the AAN’s education vision, which calls for content that is easy to find, easy to use, and tailored to the user. These innovations create a solid foundation for future improvements to your online experience.
Try out our new search capabilities today—and let us know what you think! Your feedback will help us as we plan for future improvements.
