Roslyn High School Student to be Honored for Neuroscience Proposal
St. Paul, Minn., -
Erica Berck, a Roslyn High School student from Roslyn, NY, will be honored with the Neuroscience Creativity Prize for her proposal entitled “Effects of Psychologically-induced Coritsol Elevations on Declarative Memory Retrieval in Humans.”
The Neuroscience Creativity Prize is supported by Dawn McGuire in honor of her father, H. H. McGuire, educator. The award was established to encourage high school students to explore the world of the brain and nervous system, award students for their creativity and understanding of the scientific thought process, and identify those students whose talents indicate potential for future scientific contributions to neurology.
